NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Several anti-Trump pundits on ABC's 'The View' declared that President Joe Biden ought to drop out of the race for reelection following his widely criticized performance at the debate on Thursday, June 27.

The progressive daytime discussion panel aired a montage of noteworthy moments from the CNN Presidential Debate, which went so badly for Biden that many of his media allies have voiced doubts about his suitability for another term.

The president has come under fire for sounding and appearing too old, for frequently stopping in the middle of his speech, and for generally doing little to allay worries about his growing age and mental state, reports Fox News.

"If we want to defeat Donald Trump in November, I absolutely think that," she continued. "And I think Biden’s team saw it coming. I think that’s why they pushed for an earlier debate, so they’d have time to change course if needed."

Sara Haines advocates for Joe Biden's stepping down

Sara Haines asked those close to Joe Biden to have the "very hard conversation" that he must step down. "Democrats need to stop spinning the age problem," she added.

"Joy Behar at 81 is not Joe Biden at 81 and that was on full display last night. But let me be clear, if November comes and President Biden and President Trump are on the ticket, I will 100% be voting for President Biden, because the alternative is too scary for me, but I fear many people in this country do not feel the same way," Haines added.

Alyssa Farah Griffin was in 'shock' after watching the Biden-Trump debate

'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who was employed by the Trump administration but has since turned vocal in her criticism of her former employer, expressed her "shock" at the debate.

"I’ve had concerns for a couple of years about Biden’s age. It was stunningly worse than I expected, the performance," Griffin said.

"He needs to put country before his own ambition and he needs to step aside and pass the baton," she added. "If it’s Trump versus Biden, Trump is gonna [win]."

Ana Navarro says she isn't giving up on Joe Biden until the president asks her to

Co-host Ana Navarro, a token Republican on the program who backs Democrats, wasn't prepared to end the show, despite Sunny Hostin's belief that both parties should look to change the top of their tickets.

"I love Joe Biden, and I’ve known Joe Biden for over 20 years, I’ve never seen Joe Biden like I saw him last night. It is worrisome, but … until Joe Biden tells me he is giving up, I’m not giving up on Joe Biden," Navarro said.

"He looked elderly yesterday, he sounded elderly, he is elderly, but the choice is no different, he is a very old man versus a very bad man," Navarro said. "I’m not going to judge Joe Biden on 90 bad minutes."

Griffin disagreed and said the "stakes are too high" for Democrats to stick with Biden.

Joy Behar insists Joe Biden looked better later in the evening

Joy Behar claimed that later in the evening Joe Biden appeared more presentable as he spoke to supporters at a watch party and considered what went wrong during the debate.

"Suddenly no cold. Suddenly he was 63," she said, and asked, "So, what happened?"

"Where the hell was that, Joe?" Navarro asked too.

Alyssa Farah Griffin says she feels duped by the White House over Joe Biden's fitness claims

Alyssa Farah Griffin said that after months of saying that Joe Biden is as sharp as a tack, she feels "duped" by the White House and called the president "historically bad."

After a commercial break, the ABC News program discussed who could replace Biden on the ticket, with Vice President Kamala Harris, California Governor Gavin Newsom, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg getting mentioned.

If Biden stays in, Griffin reiterated, "he will lose to Donald Trump."

Internet ridicules 'The View' hosts after Joe Biden's underwhelming debate performance

Netizens mocked 'The View' panelists as they seemed to be visibly frustrated with Joe Biden's performance at the verbal battle against Donald Trump on Thursday, June 27.

One X (formerly Twitter) user joked, "I bet it was a tough day at work for them."

Another suggested, "Maybe it’s time for the View to go off the air!!"

"When 'The Views jumps ship, you know things are bad. Would love to have been a fly on the wall at that watch party," one user laughed.

Another added, "They’ve been one of the loudest ones beating the drum about the cheap fakes, etc.."

"It's funny because these same clowns would've demonized anyone for saying this just last week," one user remarked.

Someone else tweeted, "I guess they got tired of lying every day to the American people."
