WASHINGTON, DC: Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett labeled Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene an "idiot" while slamming the GOP on Hunter Biden hearings.

Speaking on CNN, the Texas lawmaker expressed her stance on whether she wanted to see the First Son testify with the House subpoena as part of the GOP-controlled House's impeachment inquiry into his father, President Joe Biden.

Crockett stated her disinterest in the matter, "This is supposed to be about impeaching the President. But when you have idiots, and I am intentionally calling her an idiot, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who wants to flash nude pictures, I wouldn't take these people seriously."

Greene, after infamously displaying nude pictures of Hunter during a House Oversight Committee hearing in July 2023, repeated the same on the January 10 hearing under the pretext of proving his involvement in human trafficking.

The move was widely criticized by First Lady Jill Biden, calling the attack against her stepson "cruel" and "horrible."

Jasmine Crockett calls GOP's attacks against Hunter Biden a 'bunch of games'

Crockett strongly criticized House Republicans, questioning whether they want individuals to testify privately only to delve into their "personal sexual life." She further asked if it had anything to do with impeaching the President of the United States.

"If we had serious people, then I probably would care because I would say this is a serious body of people that are looking for something because they have something," the Congresswoman added.

Asserting the GOP started an investigation against Hunter during the Trump presidency, she pointed out that if they had anything against him, they would not have held back.

"So it's a bunch of games," Crockett stated.

She then defended the First Son, emphasizing the GOP's claim that the latter "spitting in the face of Congress" was false.

"He has tried to present himself. He has tried to present himself under the parameters that were laid out by our chairman."

Hunter made headlines for crashing the House Oversight Committee hearing on January 10 on whether he should be held in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena in December 2023.

The move was criticized by GOP House members, including South Carolina Rep Nancy Mace, who called him an "epitome of White privilege."

Greene also launched a scathing attack against the First Son after he abruptly left the hearing room when she started to speak.

Based on a report by Reuters, Hunter's lawyers said on Friday, January 12, said he was willing to testify before the House if the Republican lawmakers issued a new subpoena.
