WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump, on Thursday, October 16, praised Cheryl Hines for "destroying" the hosts of ‘The View’, and joked that he would never argue with her.

The show’s co-host Sunny Hostin tore into Hines on Tuesday, questioning her husband RFK Jr’s qualification for Secretary of Health and Human Services; but Hines slammed her back.

Trump, after he announced reducing the cost of IVF treatment, took the opportunity to praise Hines, and took a jab at the show’s host, saying that she “destroyed the people on 'The View' yesterday! I have to say that."

"I'm not gonna EVER get into an argument with her!" he added, “She did a great job, actually”.

Trump’s statement was met by laughter from the people present in the Oval Office, including RFK Jr.

Hostin on Tuesday, October 15, slammed the actor’s husband, RFK Jr, as the “least qualified” health secretary in history.

“Respectfully, your husband is the least qualified Department of Health and Human Services [HHS] head that we’ve had in history. I think that’s very, very dangerous,” Hostin, a left-leaning legal analyst, told Hines, referring to RFK’s recent controversial claims linking autism to circumcision and Tylenol usage.

Hines hit back, questioning how her husband is “less qualified than an economist”, referring to Sylvia Burwell, an economist who led HHS under President Obama.

“He has spent his career studying toxins, studying people’s health, fighting for one guy who was using Roundup for his job,” Hines continued.

Hostin further criticized RFK for allegedly spreading misinformation and causing chaos, while Joy Behar added that some of his actions were good, but some were not.

“Listen, we all have different views here. Yes. And when you say misinformation, disinformation, we could go back to Covid when,” Hines said before being interrupted by Hostin.

After co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked her to continue, Hines hit back, arguing that Dr Anthony Fauci, who headed the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under former President Joe Biden, had spread misinformation about Covid vaccines.

Hines insisted her husband was only asking questions at a time when little was known about Covid-19, and the discussion became heated enough that the co-hosts came in between to calm things down.
