WASHINGTON, DC: On Saturday, April 27, during his address at the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, President Joe Biden delivered a mostly satirical speech, with a particular focus on attacking his political adversary, Donald Trump.

However, the 81-year-old incumbent Democrat statesman also took the opportunity to throw some lighthearted jabs at the press and roast Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Col.) concerning a highly publicized theater incident.

What did Joe Biden say about Lauren Boebert?

The 2024 White House Correspondents' Dinner (WHCD) began with a flashback of President Barack Obama ridiculing Donald Trump during the 2011 dinner, where the latter was present.

Per Mediaite, Matt Friend then took the stage and impersonated former President Trump, responding to Obama's roast of him.

The comedian delivered some jokes within jokes, mocking what Trump would say in retaliation to the press and attendees.

After the opening act, President Biden took the mic and immediately went after Trump, making fun of him for sleeping in court, mentioning Stormy Daniels, and taking a jab at Trump's ex-Vice President, Mike Pence, for not endorsing the former POTUS in the upcoming general election.

Before moving on to making jokes about the current disposition of the press in the country, Joe Biden took a few seconds to poke fun at Colorado GOP Rep Lauren Boebert.

Last year, Rep Boebert and a friend of hers were asked to leave a theater over alleged inappropriate touching, which Biden used as the basis of his joke.

“Look, being here is a reminder that folks face what’s going on in Congress is political theater. That’s not true,” the Commander-in-Chief remarked. “If Congress were theater, they’d have thrown out Lauren Boebert a long time ago.”
