NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Donald Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson painted a grim picture of the fate that awaits those who remain loyal to the ex-POTUS on Wednesday, April 24, as per HuffPost.

Speaking to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Hutchinson, who served as an aide to Trump's White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, employed a dark comparison to describe the eventual outcome for the former president's allies saying, "I almost relate it to bodies around him."

According to Hutchinson, Trump "takes out everybody who is loyal to him because it's all about his personal gain and what he can gain from those people."

She portrayed the ex-POTUS as an "inherently" self-serving individual, asserting that "he did not want to give up the presidency, and he's now running again," attributing the nation's current situation to Trump's unwillingness to let go of power, a trait that has driven him to seek the presidency once more.

Hutchinson's comments were prompted by a discussion surrounding the indictment of Meadows, former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and 16 others for their alleged involvement in a fake electors scheme aimed at changing the result of the 2020 presidential election.

Hutchinson, who provided testimony before the House January 6 committee and has voiced her decision not to support Trump in the 2024 election, characterized Meadows' indictment as "really sad."

This sentiment echoes similar observations made by former Attorney General Bill Barr, who in a previous interview with Collins, lamented the aftermath of destruction caused by Trump.

Barr noted, "He leaves in his wake, ruined lives, like this, the people who went up, to Capitol Hill, these individuals, many of the people, who served him, in government, that got sucked into things and he just leaves all this carnage, in his wake."

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump's criminal trial to begin on April 15, which would make it the first criminal prosecution of a former American president. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 election. Internet backs Cassidy Hutchinson's observations about Donald Trump's loyalists

Hutchinson's observations about Trump loyalists struck a chord with many netizens, who were quick to express their support for her assessment.

One remarked, "It’s a horrible lesson to learn," and another reflected, "This is Trump's mode of operation. Everything he touches, dies. Presidency, congress, judicial. All the branches have taken the stain of Trump's greed for personal gain, and American democracy is next in the chopping block if we don't stop him."

A person noted, "Everything she says has been proven throughout the last years if not decades. Trump’s entire life is a scam."

"Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump. Trump's loyalty is a one-way street. Think about how many loyalists have gone to jail, gone bankrupt, disbarred, and are facing criminal charges, & Trump could care less. Trump offers no help and lets them all fall from grace in style," added someone else.

An individual expressed, "Trump just doesn’t care about anyone. It’s clear that he’s bored in court because it’s not about him (although it very much is). He just doesn’t care about anyone."

It's not like this is some big secret or mystery. It's right in front of everyone's face. He's been that way forever and nothing changed during his time in the White House," shared another person.

One more claimed, "Another user observed, "Trump is a master at using liking as power. He brings you into his orbit, is very friendly toward you, and gets you to really like him. All along, his longer-term strategy is to use you later to do things that benefit him. People just don't see it until it's too late."
