Internet questions absence of Beyonce and Jay-Z's son from Super Bowl 2025: ‘They hiding Sir lol’

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Super Bowl LIX held at Caesars Superdome on Sunday night, February 9, was full of celebrity appearances.

Jay-Z along with his two daughters also attended the exciting match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, which ultimately took home this year’s trophy.

The 55-year-old businessman and Beyonce share three children together — Blue Ivy Carter, Rumi Carter, and Sir Carter. However, people online did not understand why his only son, who is also Rumi’s twin, was absent from the event.

Soon fans took to X to question his whereabouts as one wrote, “Isn’t there a son as well?”

Another user commented, “They hiding Sir lol.”

The third user said, “Bro I be forgetting they have a son smh they don’t take him anywhere.”

“Where is the other twin?” an individual asked.

“The son must be bad, they don’t take him nowhere 🫠😅,” the second one joked.

A tweet read, “Why is the son never around, I mean this is the Superbowl."

Tina Knowles called Sir Carter ‘very quiet’

Though the reason for the seven-year-old’s absence is still unknown, earlier his grandmother Tina Knowles revealed to E! News in 2024 that the little boy is different from his sisters.

Beyonce's mother said, “Rumi is amazing—an amazing artist, painter and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion.”

However, regarding her grandson, she added, “Sir is very quiet,” and he “does all of the numbers stuff, so he's not into fashion as much."

Also in 2022, Knowles told PEOPLE, "It's funny because Rumi loves fashion. She picks out her own clothes. We recently went to Disneyland, and she put on her Mickey Mouse shorts. Then she wanted to put on a sparkly printed top, which had the same colors. It actually looked really cute."

The 43-year-old singer and her rapper husband welcomed Rumi and Sir in June 2017, five years after having their first born. 

They welcomed Blue Ivy in January 2012.

Two months after the twins’ birth, Jay-Z said, as per PEOPLE, “Rumi is our favorite poet, so it was for our daughter. Sir was like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir.”
