Joe Biden slammed as protesters disrupt his 'grassroots' fundraising event alongside Obama and Clinton
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: During President Joe Biden's fundraising event at Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, March 28, several waves of protesters disrupted the event.
The President was in attendance with former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to raise funds and infuse enthusiasm for his re-election campaign in 2024, according to the New York Post.
A female protester, who was blowing a whistle and holding a "war pig" sign, issued a caution about the possibility of "nuclear war with Russia" before being escorted out of the event.
The first interruption was followed by two other waves of protests related to the 81-year-old incumbent president's support for Israel's war against Hamas, resulting in booing and whistling from the protesters.
One of the anti-Israel demonstrators shouted, "Shame on you Joe Biden," while others yelled, "Blood on your hands."

The President requested that the demonstrators be allowed to leave peacefully as they were being escorted out by security.
It did not appear as if they were allowed to remain at the event intended to be a "grassroots fundraiser."
What did the anti-Israel protestors do to disrupt Biden’s fundraising event?
The CBS 'Late Show' host Stephen Colbert moderated the armchair discussion between the three Democratic commanders in chief. The Colbert panel was interrupted six times in total.
Hundreds of anti-Israel protestors gathered outside the renowned venue as part of a "Flood Manhattan for Gaza" demonstration before the star-studded campaign fundraiser.
The gathering chanted, "Free, free Palestine!"
Some shouted, "F**k Joe Biden!" and "Genocide Joe has got to go!" while others waved Palestinian flags and carried banners, condemning the president and the Democratic Party as "war criminals."
By the time the event had begun, at least one protestor had been arrested by NYPD officers for disorderly conduct, according to reports.
The officers had been observing the demonstrations intently from behind barricades outside the theater on Sixth Avenue.
“No, listen. You can’t talk all the time. Sometimes you have to listen,” former POTUS Barack Obama remarked at one point, addressing the gatecrashers. “You can’t just talk and not listen.”
"This is an extraordinary occasion because three presidents have come to New York—and not one of them is here to appear in court," Colbert quipped when protesters inside the theater weren't heckling Biden.
Colbert was alluding to former President Donald Trump's multiple court appearances in Manhattan since April of last year.
Who were in attendance at President Biden’s lavish "grassroots fundraiser"?
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) kicked off the evening's programming, introducing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to the Democratic audience.
"We are here to do two things," Schumer declared, adding that the first is to prevent the return of the "chaotic, dishonest, mendacious, ineffective regime of Donald Trump" and the second is to elect Joe Biden to a second term.
The 73-year-old Democrat Senator praised the president's accomplishments on marriage equality, the environment, and the nomination of "190 progressive judges" in his speech.

Following a musical performance by the acclaimed Grammy Award-winning artist Lizzo, there was a segment with the renowned fashion designer Michael Kors.
Subsequently, the host of the event, actress Mindy Kaling, graced the stage and made lighthearted jests regarding the affluent donors present in attendance.
“This is such a big night,” Kaling remarked. “It is such an honor to be in this room with so many rich people.”
She quipped, “People are paying up to $500,000 to be here tonight. For that kind of money at an RNC fundraiser, you get to be Secretary of State.”

Thursday’s fundraising event for President Joe Biden was attended by over 5,000 individuals, including his eldest son, Hunter Biden, and other members of the Biden family.
The campaign reported that the event helped raise more than $25 million for the president's war chest.
The event featured a variety of notable musical acts such as Queen Latifah, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Lea Michele.
According to Reuters, tickets for the affair ranged from $250 to $500,000, with the most generous donors receiving a photo opportunity with three US Presidents - Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton, captured by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The event was hosted by comedian and actress Mindy Kaling, and it was organized by Jeffrey Katzenberg, a Biden campaign co-chairman and Hollywood magnate, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The fundraiser was a success, raising significant funds for the Biden campaign and attracting a wide range of prominent personalities.
Katzenberg stated, “The numbers don’t lie: today’s event is a massive show of force and a true reflection of the momentum to reelect the Biden-Harris ticket.”
Former President Donald Trump, who was also in the Empire State on Thursday and attended the Long Island wake of murdered NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller, utilized the occasion as an opportunity to bolster his campaign finances by ripping into the President’s fundraiser.
