Marjorie Taylor Greene mocks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for not having 'a job other than working in a bar’

WASHINGTON, DC: Just a few days after Donald Trump's counselor Alina Habba mocked Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over her previous job profile, another Republican is throwing shade at the Democratic lawmaker.
Appearing at ‘The Eric Bolling Show’ on Rumble on Tuesday, March 25, Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) launched a personal attack against Ocasio-Cortez.
After slamming Rep Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for referring to the wheelchair-bound Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) as "Governor Hot Wheels," Greene shifted her focus to Ocasio-Cortez, mocking her past job as a bartender, as per Mediaite.

Marjorie Taylor Greene goes on fiery rant against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
During their discussion on Tuesday, host Eric Bolling suggested that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might be running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. "And by the way, I think AOC is gonna have a little something to say about who’s gonna be the nominee in ’28," said Bolling in the interview.
Taking the cue, Greene chimed in, "Yeah, I can weigh in on her," before dissecting the Boston University graduate’s portfolio.

"This is a woman – she’s never been married, she has no children, she’s never had a job other than working in a bar," said Greene, referencing her Democratic colleague's past occupation.
"And that was short-term, from what we understand. She’s never run a business. This is a woman that has really no life experience and has no life wisdom because she’s never done any of those things," the 50-year-old remarked.
She also called her fellow Congresswoman an "actress," saying, "This is why no one will take her serious as a presidential candidate, because we don’t want someone that’s propped up by the Democrat progressive establishment and who’s basically an actress herself making the most important decisions in America on behalf of Americans, who most of them have had jobs, have jobs, ran companies, have children, and have been married."

Greene's fiery rant came after Habba mocked Ocasio-Cortez, Crockett, and other Democratic women over their "Choose your fighter" TikTok video during an appearance on Fox News host Sean Hannity's show.
Hannity: Jasmine Crockett and AOC seem to be leading the intellectual thought of the party

Habba: What intellectual thought.. You were in the bar. You were in a bar. You were in a bar AOC. Not to a have drink, to serve one pic.twitter.com/7GegifFSlu
When Hannity said, "Jasmine Crockett and AOC and the Squad seem to be leading the ‘intellectual thought’ of the Democratic Party," Habba responded, "What intellectual thought, Sean? The last I saw, they’re dancing down the halls of Congress," referencing the viral video.
She added, "I’ve never seen anything like this, I’m watching TikToks of crazy things. They’re singing, they’re dancing."
After Hannity interjected, saying, "And I love when AOC lectures Elon Musk about not being intelligent. I’m like, 'Oh, she’s such a genius, I’m inspired by her every word,'" Habba took a jab at Ocasio-Cortez, saying, "You were in the bar. You were in a bar. You were in a bar, AOC. Calm down. And not to have a drink, to serve one."
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez previously said she gets 'encouraged' when someone brings up her past
While Marjorie Taylor Greene attempted to undermine Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by referencing her past work as a bartender, the 35-year-old previously shared that instead of feeling bad, she, in fact, feels "encouraged" by such talks.
In 2019, the New York politician shared in a speech, "I'm proud to be a bartender, ain't nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with working retail, folding clothes for other people to buy."
"There is nothing wrong with preparing the food that your neighbors will eat. There is nothing wrong with driving the buses that take your family to work. There is nothing wrong with being a working person in the United States of America, and there is everything dignified about it," she stressed.
"I, in fact, am encouraged when people remind the country of my past, not because of anything about my story, but because it communicates that if could work in a restaurant and become a member of the United States Congress, so can you," Ocasio-Cortez said.
Before entering politics, Ocasio-Cortez worked as a bartender and waitress at Flats Fix, a taco and tequila bar in Manhattan.
