Roberts provided a close-up photo of the embattled Ohio senator as supposed proof of him wearing eyeliner.

He mocked Vance for his alleged use of makeup, suggesting that it accentuates the ruggedness of the VP candidate.

A report by The Independent mentioned a TikTok user who asserted that she had identified the exact eyeliner shade that Sen JD Vance uses.

However, her claim that the 2024 GOP vice-presidential candidate wears a shade called "desperation" by Urban Decay appears to be in jest.

Jimmy Fallon quipped about JD Vance's rumored use of makeup on his show, with the Ohio Republican lawmaker being criticized for potentially wearing eyeliner while taking a firm stance on transgender issues.

Journalist James Surowiecki also tweeted a clip of Vance from a September 2021 video interview.

"Why does JD Vance always look like he’s wearing eyeliner?” Surowiecki wrote over the video, adding: “He doesn’t really seem like the goth-boy type.”

Even though Vance has not addressed the allegations about wearing makeup, if they turn out to be true, he would be in good company within the upper ranks of the Republican party.

His running mate, former president Donald Trump, 78, is widely recognized for his fake bronzed tan and striking blond hair, which have become iconic.
