WASHINGTON, DC: Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, has reiterated his belief that the Democratic Party will substitute President Joe Biden with former First Lady Michelle Obama as their nominee for the upcoming November general election.

Ramaswamy’s hypothesis has been reinforced by the recent release of Special Counsel Robert Hur's report, which has brought to light concerns regarding Joe Biden's cognitive abilities.

Hur’s report states that although Biden had "willfully" obtained classified documents during his tenure as both Vice President and Senator, a jury found him to be a "sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory" and therefore chose not to pursue charges against him.

Ramaswamy, who has been vocal about his fringe beliefs during his campaign trail, argues that the Special Counsel's report provides a "convenient path" for the Democrats to nominate the popular former FLOTUS, per a report by the New York Post.

These developments have raised questions about the Democratic Party's strategy for the upcoming election and have sparked discussions about potential alternatives to the 81-year-old incumbent POTUS.

What did Vivek Ramaswamy say regarding the special prosecutor’s report against Biden?

The 38-year-old biotech multimillionaire explained in a Fox News Digital interview, “The main obstacle stopping the Democratic Party is they have a Kamala Harris problem, which is to say that if they do sideline Biden, the natural person normally that would be the nominee, could be the vice president of that same sitting president.”

“But that vice president is unable, I think, to effectively carry forward that job,” he added. “She didn’t make it to the Iowa caucus in the year that she ran, right, even and within her own party, let alone an issue with broader popularity in the country.”

Ramaswamy argued, “If race and gender are your basis for selecting someone for a job, and the identity of your party is tied to that temple of identity politics, then they will risk looking hypocritical if they sideline her after they sideline Biden. And I do think Michelle Obama offers them a convenient path out of that problem, somebody who checks the boxes that they need to have checked per their own ideology, while also selecting an alternative to Biden that they may view as more palatable in a general election, it’s looking increasingly like it’s not going to be Biden as the nominee. And I think that it should not be shocking to see someone like Michelle Obama take the role of the nomination.”

Regarding Hur's choice not to press charges against President Biden, Ramaswamy stated that it indicated the latter's "willingness" to eventually step aside.

“I think that coincides within recent months [of] him saying things like, you know, other Democratic nominees could also be successful in the general,” Ramaswamy noted. “So I think that we’re seeing a general trend towards what I predicted, which is that they would move Biden out of the way. And I think this is one more step in that direction.”

Robert Hur, an appointee of Attorney General Merrick Garland, has investigated President Biden's handling of classified information.

During the investigation, Hur revealed that President Biden's recollection of specific events was somewhat imprecise.

In particular, Biden displayed a “hazy” memory concerning the timing of his previous tenure as Vice President and the passing of his son Beau in 2015.

The comprehensive 388-page report produced on Thursday, February 8, states, “In his interview with our office, Mr Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 — when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’).”

“He did not remember, even within several years when his son Beau died,” the report added. “And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him. Among other things, he mistakenly said he ‘had a real difference’ of opinion with General Karl Eikenberry, when, in fact, Eikenberry was an ally whom Mr Biden cited approvingly in his Thanksgiving memo to President Obama.”

These recent revelations, coupled with a series of gaffes, have only added to the concerns among certain voters about Biden's advanced age, as he is the oldest president the United States has ever had.

Notably, President Joe Biden's expected opponent in the November general election, former President Donald Trump, will turn 78 in June, this year.

Internet agrees to disagree with Ramaswamy's prediction

People on X reacted in a lukewarm manner to the firebrand Republican's claims of former First Lady Michelle Obama swooping in this late in the election cycle and clinching the Democratic presidential nomination away from Joe Biden.

One X user remarked: "But again, these are just words, just like a year ago, because there is no accurate information yet and there are no prerequisites for this."

Another user quipped: "Solid hockey analogy. /salute."

Another user claimed: ".@JoeBiden said he wouldn't serve 2nd term, in 2020."

One user said: "That's been obvious for a long time, they're propping Biden up so Republicans take the bait and choose Trump before replacing Biden so they can easily defeat Trump come November."

Another X user remarked: "Vivek is in a state of decline if he believes this statement."

Another user wrote: "I agree with you on that. No way Garland and the hill would have lit that report out unredacted if they weren’t up to something!"

Finally, this user tweeted: "This guy is so annoying, how’s he gonna feel when he’s dead wrong."
