Peter Navarro shredded as he labels immigrants 'illiterate illegal aliens' at RNC after prison release
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: Peter Navarro, the former economic advisor to Donald Trump, was released from federal prison on Wednesday morning after four months, and received a resounding welcome as he addressed the Republican National Convention.
Hours after his release, Navarro was welcomed on stage with loud cheers and during a fiery speech criticized the prosecutors who targeted his former boss and also labeled undocumented immigrants as "a whole army of illiterate illegal aliens," according to the Daily Mail.
On stage, he embraced his fiance with a kiss, and boldly declared, “I went to prison so you won't have to. I am your wake-up call,” echoing a sentiment previously expressed by former President Donald Trump after facing charges and multiple criminal trials.
During his speech, Navarro revealed that he has a fiancee named Bonnie, who had offered encouragement when he went to prison after being convicted of defying a congressional subpoena.
He emphasized that the support of loved ones is crucial during such challenging times, stating, "They weren't 'I love you'. That was a given. She simply said: 'We got this. We got this'."
Additionally, he tore into the Democrats, asserting that they don't understand “they do this to families.”
What else did Peter Navarro say during his RNC speech after serving four months in prison?
The former Director of the US Office of Trade & Manufacturing, Peter Navarro was in prison for four months before being released on Wednesday morning and immediately the ex-Trump aide flew to Milwaukee to deliver his remarks at the RNC.
Onstage, he shared a passionate kiss with his fiancee, receiving louder cheers from the audience that had already given him enthusiastic applause upon his introduction.
He quipped at the beginning of his speech, saying, "This is a beautiful thing. I think you folks just want to know if you can see my MAGA tattoo that I got there."

“Guess what? They did not break me. And they will never break Donald Trump.”

He also derided former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a frequent target of former president Trump.
“The legislative branch came for me first. Your favorite Democrat: Nancy Pelosi. The sham January 6 Committee,” he said, citing the Demoratic-run panel that probed the attack on the US Capitol.
Congress intended to question Navarro regarding what he dubbed the "Green Bay Sweep," a moniker coined in reference to the Green Bay Packers, that prompted lawmakers to delay the electoral count in the face of voting-related legal challenges.
He then accused President Joe Biden and the Department of Justice of unfairly putting him in federal prison, saying, “This morning I did walk out of a federal prison in Miami. Joe Biden and his department of injustice put me there.”
He further criticized judges and prosecutors and warned the audience, "If they can come for me, if they can come for Donald Trump, be careful, they will come for you."
Navarro also criticized Judge Juan Merchan who presided over Trump's New York hush money criminal case, which resulted in the ex-president's conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records.
At one point during his address, the 75-year-old went on an invective against illegal immigration claiming that “a whole army” of them are crossing the border and stealing the jobs of working-class Americans.

“Murderers and rapists, drug cartels, human traffickers, terrorists, Chinese spies and a whole army of illiterate illegal aliens stealing the jobs of Black, Brown and blue-collar Americans. They put them right on your front doorstep,” Navarro remarked.
He reassured the audience that he was "feeling fine" after being released from prison and stated that he would repeat the same actions that got him sentenced to four months in prison.
When asked if he would do it again given what he has been through, he asserted, "Absolutely. It's not about me. It's about the Constitution. The doctrine of executive privilege goes back to the days of George Washington."
Finally, Peter Navarro mentioned that the only positive aspect of his time in prison was the weather and declined to provide details of his experience, promising to discuss it later.
“The American people understand, if they can take me, they can take them. As for prison, the only thing I can say is the weather wasn’t bad. Everything else was prison,” he said.
Internet rips Peter Navarro for his speech at RNC
One X user remarked, "Peter Navarro is vile. An absolute quack who economists and trade experts look at with complete disdain. See how “the party of law and order” celebrates criminals! At this point, the floor of the Republican convention resembles a halfway house!"
